In De Boomtak (In The Tree Branch) is a film about the community centre going by the same name, and shows the viewer how this centre is a living room for and by the neighbourhood. Community centre In De Boomtak is an independent centre within the neighbourhood – run entirely by volunteers – situated in the Noordhoek district (also called 'Bomenbuurt') in Tilburg. Without subsidies from the municipality, the Foundation's Board is depending completely on generating its own income, from rental profits and buffet turnover.
